Course Objectives:
Ubiquitous Computing (Ubicomp) which is also known as pervasive computing is a new era of computing anytime and anywhere. This course aims to explore the new revolving technology of Ubiquitous computing with the blend of Android mobile application programming to the faculty. The objective of this course is to make faculty learn the design paradigms and technical essentials of bringing your app to your user wherever and whenever they want or need it.

Expected Outcome:

  • Enhancement in knowledge of design of Ubicomp and its applications
  • Demonstrate smart devices and services used in Ubicomp
  • Use of Android in desigining Ubicomp applications so as to improve teaching learning process and research

About Savitribai Phule Pune University:
Savitribai Phule Pune University, formerly University of Pune and University of Poona, is a university in Pune in western India, founded in 1949. About MKSSS's Cummins College of Engineering for Women,Pune
Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha was established in 1896. The samstha has a vision of "Empowered women playing equal role in society and nation building". The MKSSS's Cummins College of Engineering for Women was established in 1991. This is the first privately managed engineering college exclusively for girls. It is approved by AICTE. It offers five undergraduate degree programs and three post graduate programs in engineering. It is an autonomous institute and all programs are affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. It is accredited by NAAC with "A" grade in 2012 and 2017.

Who Should Attend?
This program is open to faculty and research scholars from all the colleges and universities. Industry personnel working in the concerned/allied discipline may also attend.

Download and send the completed application form along with the scanned copy of the DD/ transaction receipt as registration fee through mail on or before 4th December 2018 on AUCIT2018@cumminscollege.in with a copy to academyjbp@gmail.com. The DD should be in favour of "Cummins College of Engineering for Women " payable at Pune.
